Scottish Target Shooting is growing as a
governing body on the back of the sportís continued success at international
events however the sport is largely dependent on the energy and time of
volunteers operating locally in the clubs and nationally in the various
committees of the governing body.
Every year, as the sport develops and the
governing body grows, Scottish Target Shooting will be looking for volunteers
to fill various roles. Some opportunities will be short term for a few months
while others may be for a couple of years but all will be rewarding, giving you
a chance to get involved in a great sport and pick up some valuable experience
(and maybe even a qualification or two) along the way.
Also, for some of our opportunities
applicants need not have any past experience in the sport to apply as the
skills weíre looking for donít require prior knowledge of the sport so donít be
put off if you havenít been involved in the sport before. All our opportunities
will come with a role description explaining what the role will involve, how
much of a time commitment will be required and the level of knowledge and
experience required so potential applicants can tell right away whether the
role would be of interest.
All our volunteering opportunities will be displayed
on this page as and when they come up so please keep visiting this page to see
if there is anything that would be of interest to you.
